With 30 years of experience and more than 100 PR awards, Susan Hardy Brooks, APR, knows what it takes to handle any public relations situation.
Susan has provided counsel to more than 50 clients from the private, public and non-profit sectors on a range of public relations issues. Her track record is especially strong in the education field, having worked with public schools, vocational-technical schools and higher education.
Prior to joining STF | PR, Susan provided PR counsel to the Oklahoma State School Boards Association and worked for The Foundation for Oklahoma City Public Schools.
• Education: bachelor’s degree in journalism from Oklahoma Baptist University, master’s degree in education administration from the University of Oklahoma
• Community Involvement: Foundation for Oklahoma City Schools; National School Public Relations Association; Oklahoma School PR Association; Bridge Creek High School athletics volunteer; church volunteer
• Passions: reading, sports (especially football and basketball), traveling, two teenage children, people-watching
